Campbell High gears up for exams; announces key dates and events

As the end of the semester approaches, Campbell High School is preparing for several important events and deadlines. Students are reminded to stay focused until December 20, as the End of Course Tests in Algebra I, Biology, and US History are imminent. Principal encourages students to "get a good night's rest and come to school on time for testing."

Final exams will take place from December 17 to December 20 with an early release schedule on the last two days. Exams will account for 10% of a student's final grade, according to Cobb County School District's updated policy IHAA-R.

The school's counseling department highlights the importance of attending Dual Enrollment Information Sessions for interested students. Feedback from parents and community members is welcomed through a survey link provided by the school.

The PTSA is hosting Varner's Spirit Night on December 10, where a portion of sales will support Campbell High School PTSA. Additionally, nine student artists have advanced in the PTSA Reflections Art Contest.

Campbell High School also announces a course extension program in January for students who scored between 60-69 in certain classes. The program aims to help these students improve their grades to 70%.

The Comfort Closet initiative continues to provide personal care items for students and families in need. Donations from the community have been appreciated.

For seniors, information regarding cap and gown purchases has been shared via QR code, and advisement sessions continue as planned.

Campbell High Theatre invites everyone to their Improv and Sketch show on December 13. The Swim and Dive Team's Spirit Night at Newk's Eatery takes place on December 10.

In sports news, those interested in playing lacrosse can attend an informational meeting on December 11. The CHS Baseball Team offers Christmas tree pickup services with donations encouraged.

Finally, students can enjoy coffee at the student-run shop open during morning hours at Wills Gym Concession.
