Tracy Styf, Executive Director of the Town Center Community Improvement District (CID), has been named the 2025 Smyrna Citizen of the Year by the Cobb Chamber’s Smyrna Area Council. The award recognizes individuals whose actions have made a significant and lasting impact on their community.

The Citizen of the Year Award is given to those whose work and commitment serve as an example for others in the area. Recipients are chosen based on nominations from local residents.

Styf has 25 years of experience in civic, private, and nonprofit sectors. As Executive Director of Town Center CID, she works with decision-makers, elected officials, business leaders, investors, and government agencies to promote accessibility and economic growth in metro Atlanta’s Town Center Community.

During her tenure, the Town Center CID has obtained over $130 million in grant funding for infrastructure projects such as the Skip Spann Connector and Noonday Creek Trail. She currently manages 15 active projects valued at $75 million that focus on transportation improvements, public spaces, and regional connectivity. Her leadership also includes initiatives like the South Barrett Reliever phases, Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Study and Freight Cluster Plan, Regional Connected Vehicle Program, and Georgia’s first CID bikeshare program.

Styf established the Town Center Community Alliance—a nonprofit partner to the CID—which delivers additional programs and investments aimed at benefiting residents, visitors, and businesses.

In addition to her role at Town Center CID, Styf serves on several boards including the Executive Board of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce; Council for Quality Growth; Georgia Transportation Alliance; Kennesaw State University; and Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theater.

Her professional achievements have been recognized by multiple organizations. She was included among Engineering Georgia’s 100 Influential Women to Know for seven consecutive years and has been listed as a Notable Georgian by Georgia Trend magazine for nine years. Other honors include membership in Georgia Trend Magazine’s Georgia 500 list; being named Woman of Distinction by Cobb Chamber’s Cobb Executive Women in 2017; selection for Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 40 Under 40 class; recognition as a Top 20 Under 40 by Cobb Life Magazine; designation as a Woman of Achievement by LiveSafe Resources in 2014; participation in Leadership Cobb’s Class of 2012; and receiving that year’s Spirit Award.
