Thank you was extended to Ms. Deck, Ms. Babcock, and Mr. Drawdy for their work with students participating in the Rally Variety Show at Vaughan Elementary School. The event is scheduled for February 5 and 6, with proceeds supporting the Fight Against Childhood Cancer. “Thanks for Ms. Deck, Ms. Babcock and Mr. Drawdy for working with our Rally Variety Show students. We cannot wait to see the final product on Feb. 5 and Feb. 6. Plan to come and watch the students participating. The donations go to a great cause as we support the Fight Against Childhood Cancer!”

Students celebrating birthdays this week were recognized by the school community.

The Vaughan Spirit Wear Winner was also announced, with thanks given to PTSA for donating a chicken biscuit coupon as a prize.

Students who demonstrated positive bus behavior were acknowledged as PBIS Bus Winners for showing respect, responsibility, and safety while riding the bus.

Third grade students recently visited Orthozone as part of their STEM curriculum, where they learned about science, technology, engineering, and math careers in healthcare and design fields.

Families were reminded that submissions for the STEM Family Challenge are due on January 28.
