The Benjamin Preparatory School of Academics and Performing Arts, already established in Vinings, is set to open a new location at 3737 Stilesboro Road in Kennesaw, Georgia, on June 3, 2024. The school offers a unique blend of Christ-centered childcare and education with a focus on performing arts.

Students at Benjamin Prep experience an innovative curriculum designed to identify and develop each child’s talents in a creative environment. This approach aims to foster creativity, confidence, and cognitive development while providing nutritious daily meals.

Benjamin Prep caters to children from six weeks to six years old and features programs that enhance students' academics, languages, dance, theater, instruments, and sports abilities. The school is equipped with modern classrooms and a state-of-the-art performance stage.

Dr. Verna R. Benjamin Lambert, co-founder, along with Nicole F. Kelly, the current Director of the school stated: “We are excited to bring this innovative concept to Kennesaw.” The school's curriculum is based on several principles:

- Christ-centered nurturing environment

- Identifying a child’s natural interests and talents

- Exposing children to various research-driven activities proven to boost brain development

- Employing nurturing staff who prioritize children throughout the school day

- Evaluating and presenting newly acquired skills for confidence building

Benjamin Prep is currently accepting registration applications. For more information about upcoming events including the grand opening visit www.benjaminprep.com or contact Olivia Taylor at (770) 436-5200.

“Identifying a child’s interest early allows educators to focus on instructional practices that leave no child behind,” said Dr. Verna R. Benjamin Lambert.
