The BLADE Show, the largest knife event globally, concluded another successful exhibition at the Cobb Galleria Centre from June 7-9, 2024. Thousands of guests attended from around the world.

The event's large attendance and approximately 3,800 hotel room nights filled by attendees and exhibitors resulted in an economic impact of $11.3 million on Cobb County and Georgia, according to Cobb Travel & Tourism.

“BLADE Show generates the highest attendance of any show held at Cobb Galleria Centre, and while visiting our community, the exhibitors and attendees contribute new dollars to the local economy,” said Michele Swann, General Manager & CEO of the Cobb-Marietta Coliseum & Exhibit Hall Authority.

Cobb County benefits directly as visitors spend on local accommodations, transportation, entertainment, recreation, food, and retail.

At BLADE Show, globally recognized exhibitors and legendary makers gather annually to introduce a vast selection of blades, knives, outdoor gear, and accessories. Attendees shop hundreds of exhibitors for the world’s best knives and find new blades, collector knives, antique swords, among other items. The event also offers BLADE University knife education classes and various demonstrations.

Originating in Kentucky in 1982 before moving to Atlanta's Renaissance Waverly hotel in 1992 and then to Cobb Galleria Centre in 1997, the BLADE Show now occupies over 200,000 square feet of exhibit space.

“The 2024 BLADE Show was the largest show to date and continues to grow year over year,” said Alicia Newton, Group Show Director for Caribou Media. “Our attendees/exhibitors travel from all over the U.S. and internationally. The vast majority hail from the southern region; however we have representation from over 45 states as well as Australia, Canada, South Africa, the United Kingdom and other countries.”

Next year’s BLADE Show will be held June 6-8 at Cobb Galleria Centre. For more information visit bladeshow.com.
