Sheree Knowles completes Goldman Sachs small businesses program

Sheree Knowles, CEO of HR Knowledge Source (HRKS), has successfully graduated from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program. Chosen from a highly competitive pool of finalists, Knowles has demonstrated dedication and commitment to driving economic opportunities within the community and beyond.

The official graduation ceremony took place on Thursday, May 24, where Knowles was recognized as a distinguished member of Cohort 21. This cohort included 36 scholars representing $56 million in revenue, 539 employees, and 15 states.

With three decades of experience in talent management, culture, and leadership development, Sheree Knowles leads two successful woman- and minority-owned human capital management firms: Human Capital Consulting Consortium (H3C), an 8(a) and WOSB certified firm, and HR Knowledge Source (HRKS). Under her leadership, HRKS has been recognized as one of the Top 25 Small Businesses of the Year for three consecutive years and was honored as the 2022 Minority-Owned Business of the Year in Cobb County, GA.

Prior to founding HRKS and H3C, Sheree served as VP of HR for a $2B+ professional services firm. Her certifications as an Emotional Intelligence Coach, Master Facilitator, and Project Manager have equipped her to manage large-scale HR initiatives and drive success for her clients. Sheree is also a dynamic keynote speaker, instructor, and facilitator who has been featured at DisruptHR, HR Star Conferences, SHRM-Atlanta, the Project Management Institute, the State of GA HR Department, and NAAAHR.

For over a decade, the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program has empowered thousands of entrepreneurs to expand their businesses and create jobs within their communities. Delivered through partnerships with local community colleges, business schools, and leading nonprofit organizations; the program offers participants access to a vast network of over 14,000 graduates spanning all 50 states including Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico.

Participation in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program requires significant commitment from its scholars. This includes engaging in class sessions led by subject matter experts; participating in clinics; panels; growth group meetings; paired partner discussions; completing asynchronous work on growth plans; pitches; individual meetings with business advisors.
