The Atlanta Braves are preparing to host the 2025 MLB All-Star Game at Truist Park, marking the third time the city has hosted this event and the first since it was held at Turner Field in 2000. The announcement follows the conclusion of this year's Midsummer Classic.

Braves president and CEO Derek Schiller expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming event, stating, "Everybody is excited and believes we are ready to make this the best All-Star Game in the history of Major League Baseball."

Schiller and approximately 30 members of his organization attended this year's All-Star festivities in Texas to gather ideas for next year. The All-Star Game extends beyond just a single match between National League and American League stars, featuring various community events, a Futures Game with top prospects, an MLB Draft, and a Home Run Derby.

This year's Draft took place at Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth. Reflecting on Texas's unique approach to hosting, Schiller said, "They made it uniquely Texas and uniquely Arlington. For us, that we make Atlanta shine, make The Battery shine, make Truist Park shine -- we have the ability to really create an event that showcases what makes our team, our ballpark, our city and The Battery so special."

The Battery Atlanta is a significant draw for professional sports organizations due to its extensive development connected to Truist Park. This 2.25-million-square-foot mixed-use destination includes restaurants, hotels, boutiques, bars, bowling lanes, and a concert hall.

"This is an opportunity for us to show the world what we built," Schiller noted. "We’re really proud of it. We hope that everybody who comes really enjoys it and understands how special it is to have an opportunity to host an event like this where all eyes of the baseball world and the broader world are on us."
