ArtsBridge Foundation has announced the opening of registration for its 2024-2025 education programs, available to Pre-K-12 schools across Georgia. The program season includes field trips and professional development workshops. Each student attending an ArtsBridge Field Trip will receive a nutritious Snack Pack as part of efforts to combat food insecurity and support students' academic journeys.

The first field trip for 2024 is Synchronicity Theatre’s production of "Mufaro’s Beautiful Daughters: An African Tale" by Caldecott award-winning author John Steptoe, scheduled for Monday, September 23, 2024, for grades K-12.

"Providing first-hand educational experiences such as the field trips is essential to connecting students with the arts and enhancing their understanding of fine arts outside the classroom," said Elizabeth Lenhart, director of arts education for ArtsBridge Foundation.

The professional development series includes the "Theatre: Inside-n-Out" workshop on August 27, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., held at the John A. Williams Theatre stage of the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. This series targets high school students in grades 9-12 and educators interested in technical and theatrical skills like light and sound. Registration costs $125, with reduced group pricing options available. Scholarships are offered for Title I schools and students.

The complete program slate for the 2024-2025 season includes:
