Leading assurance, tax, and advisory firm Mauldin & Jenkins has announced the appointment of six professionals to Partner, effective September 1, 2024. This move underscores the firm's commitment to recognizing excellence, leadership, and dedication to client service.

The new Partners are:

Mark Abernathy, CPA - Partner in the Athens, Alabama office. With 15 years of public accounting experience specializing in assurance services for various industries including state and local governments, not-for-profits, healthcare, government and construction contracting, and employee benefit plans. He is a member of AICPA and ASCPA and serves on the Board of CASA of North Alabama.

Stephanie Blair, CPA, CFE - Partner in the Athens, Alabama office. She specializes in tax planning, compliance, traditional assurance services for individuals and closely held businesses. Blair is affiliated with AICPA, TSCPA, ASCPA, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and Kiwanis Club.

Lew Henry, CPA - Partner in the Atlanta office. Henry focuses on attestation and consulting services within Not-for-Profit and Education practices while also providing attestation services across industries like construction, healthcare,and manufacturing. He is a member of AICPA and GSCPA.

Sherrie Hodges, CPA - Partner in Huntsville office with over 30 years in public accounting. She specializes in income tax planning/preparation/consulting as part of Private Client Services practice. Hodges is a member of ASCPA,AICPA,and Firm’s Tax Committee.
