BrandsMart opens new location in Kennesaw with strong community support

BrandsMart U.S.A. has opened a new store in Kennesaw, Georgia, marking its return to Cobb County. The grand opening on July 20th attracted around 5,000 customers. This 35,000-square-foot store is the second BrandsMart location to open in Georgia since The Aaron’s Company acquired the brand in April 2022. It employs over 80 staff members.

Steve Olsen, President of BrandsMart U.S.A., expressed enthusiasm for the new store: “This new store in Cobb County is our 4th store in Georgia, and 12th BrandsMart store overall. We are thrilled with the tremendous amount of support for the new store that we have already seen from the Kennesaw community, and that adds to our overall excitement to grow the brand.”

As part of their community commitment, BrandsMart U.S.A. donated 50 Gateway Laptops to Kennesaw State University's CARE Services program during the opening event.

Tracy Styf, Executive Director of the Town Center Community Improvement District, noted: “The opening of BrandsMart in Kennesaw marks a continuation of the positive momentum we have bringing jobs and investment to the Town Center community."

Dana Johnson from SelectCobb highlighted the benefits of having BrandsMart in Cobb County: “We are thrilled to welcome BrandsMart to Cobb County. The store’s proximity to Kennesaw State University and its vibrant surroundings make it an ideal location for continued business success.”
