The LEAD Council and PTSA are organizing a Winter Ball for 7th and 8th-grade students. The event is scheduled for Friday, January 31st, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Parents are required to pick up their children promptly at the end of the event in the school bus lanes.

Attendance requires a signed permission slip from a parent or guardian. Families can use MyPaymentsPlus to submit permission and pay for tickets. Alternatively, signed hard copies of the permission form can be returned to the school with cash or a check made payable to "Awtrey Middle School." Only Awtrey students may attend, and all attendees must adhere to dress codes and behavior expectations outlined in the permission slip.

Tickets go on sale starting Friday, January 10th, through Friday, January 31st. Discounted tickets cost $15 if purchased between January 10th and January 24th. From January 25th to January 30th, tickets will be priced at $25. Tickets bought by noon on the day of the dance will cost $35. No tickets will be sold at the door, nor without a signed permission slip; refunds are not available.

The dance will include appetizers, desserts, drinks, music from a DJ, crowning ceremonies for an 8th Grade King & Queen and a 7th Grade Prince & Princess, as well as themed decorations and more.
