The recent Paw-liday Drive, a collaboration between Frey Elementary and Durham Middle's Library Learning Commons, achieved success for the second consecutive year. The event was supported by the Durham Library Ambassadors program, which includes nearly 50 student members from Durham.

Throughout December, these students were actively involved in collecting, organizing, and boxing donations from local families. The donations were then delivered by Frey Media Specialist Mrs. Ashley Sherman to various animal welfare organizations including Mostly Mutts, Paulding County Animal Control, Road Trip Home Animal Rescue, and Castoff Pet Rescue Shelter.

A statement expressed gratitude to those who contributed: "Thank you for helping local shelters provide for some of our most precious this holiday season and for encouraging our students to serve in their schools, communities, and beyond."

The Durham Library Ambassadors continue to assist through community service initiatives within the library setting.
