Barber Middle School recently had 13 students audition for the GMEA District XII Honor Orchestra, an ensemble representing top talent from CCSD middle school orchestras. The school expressed pride in these students who dedicated their free time to enhance their musical skills.
The students who auditioned were Rain P., Brandon K., William P., Gerom K., Allisyn H., Achilles J., Angelie C., Ava W., Tobias M., Malayuh M., Tevin T., Khaleesi S., and Israel G.
Four Barber students were selected for the honor orchestra, which includes fewer than 200 students countywide. These students are Khaleesi S., Achilles J., Tobias M., and Tevin T.
"Congratulate these talented students that have gone above and beyond!" the announcement stated.
