Campbell High School has announced a series of important dates and updates for students, parents, and staff. On March 3rd, the school will hold a Digital Learning Day, where students will complete assignments from home while faculty engage in professional development.
Principal's message highlights Campbell's recent recognition by State Superintendent Richard Woods in five Advanced Placement (AP) categories: "AP School of Distinction," "AP Humanities School," "AP Humanities Achievement School," "AP STEM School," and "AP STEM Achievement School." The principal expressed excitement about the collaborative efforts among students, staff, and parents to maintain high academic aspirations.
In light of flu season, parents are encouraged to review guidance from Nurse Cristelli and the CDC regarding when to send their children to school. Additionally, families are urged to participate in a Climate Survey aimed at improving the school's environment.
The counseling department seeks feedback from the community through a short survey designed to enhance student programs. The College and Career Center is actively engaging with students under the guidance of counselors Ms. Young and Ms. Diaz-Brown.
The Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) calls for volunteers for an upcoming College & Career Fair on March 14th. Senior yard signs are available for purchase until March 31st.
Campbell High's debate team achieved notable success this season, securing first place in sweepstakes awards. Coaches Mr. Franco and Ms. Cook received Coach of the Year honors.
Mira Ballantyne, an IB ninth grader at Campbell High School, won first place at the North Central Technology Competition in animation and will advance to a statewide competition alongside Harshad Premkumar for 3D modeling and Theodore Behrman for audio production.
Senior families should note that cap and gown delivery is scheduled for March 5th outside the PAC area. The commencement ceremony is set for May 23rd at KSU Convocation Center; seniors must request tickets via their student portal by February 28th.
