Crane Book Fairs is set to arrive at the Durham Library, offering an opportunity for children to select their own books. This initiative aims to empower young readers and supports library programs through book purchases.

The funds raised from the book fair will be allocated towards trivia prizes, including October's Spooky Books Trivia and monthly Beanstack Reading Challenges. Additionally, earnings will support the Lunch Bunch Book Club and Crochet Circle with necessary books and materials. Instructional resources for collaborative lessons with classroom teachers will also benefit from these funds, utilizing Breakout kits, manipulatives, and interactive learning tools.

The event is scheduled from Thursday, March 27 to Tuesday, April 1 at the Durham Library. Payment can be made via cash or credit/debit cards for purchases of $10 or more. E-gift certificates are available for those wishing to allocate funds specifically for students. These can be purchased online by selecting "Buy E-Gift," entering "Durham Middle" in the message box, and completing checkout. A barcode will then be emailed for use at the fair.

Mrs. Erin Baker expressed gratitude for community support: "Thank you for supporting our library—happy reading!"
