South Cobb High School is preparing for its 2025 prom, scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 29th, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. The event will be held at the College Football Hall of Fame located at 250 Marietta Street NW in Atlanta, Georgia.

Students attending the prom are advised that parking is not free and they should be prepared to pay as parking decks are regulated by the City of Atlanta with varying rates. "We encourage students to ride together or get dropped off at the College Football Hall of Fame," stated school officials.

To attend the prom, students must be present at school on Friday, March 28th for at least half a day, specifically during the first and second periods. Early release forms are available in several locations within the school and must be submitted by Tuesday, March 25th at 3 p.m., accompanied by a printed copy of a parent ID or driver's license.

Each student needs an individual ticket which will be verified upon arrival. Voting for Prom King and Queen will occur between 7 p.m. and 8:45 p.m., with the crowning ceremony set for 9:30 p.m. Candidates must arrive by 9 p.m.

The event enforces strict rules regarding drugs and alcohol; any student found violating these rules will face disciplinary action without refund. Security measures include bag checks and metal detectors at entry points.

Finally, once students exit the venue, re-entry is prohibited. Students are reminded to ensure they have everything needed before entering.
