Campbell High announces key events including graduation ceremony and Hoopcoming game

Campbell High School has announced several key dates and updates for students and parents as the academic year progresses. A meeting for senior parents is scheduled for Thursday, March 27, at 6:30 PM in the Performing Arts Center (PAC). The school's spring break will take place from April 7 to April 11, and the commencement ceremony for graduates and their families is set for Friday, May 23, at 7 PM at Kennesaw State University.

Principal's message highlighted the upcoming Drop/Add period for the 2025-26 school year on Wednesday. Parents are encouraged to ensure that students taking Advanced Placement tests have Windows 11 installed on their district-issued laptops. Any issues with installation should be reported to AP teachers promptly.

The Student Behavior Contract Letter has been distributed to all parents/guardians and reviewed with students during grade-level assemblies. Additionally, a change in Early Checkout Time has been implemented; it is now set at 2:45 PM.

In other updates, Campbell's PTSA General Meeting will occur on Monday, March 31, at 6:30 PM via Zoom. The meeting will include officer elections for the CHS PTSA Board for the next school year and discussions on a dues increase.

For summer school information, CHS students will attend Wheeler High School for credit recovery courses. Registration opened on March 1 in PARENTVUE.

Notably, congratulations are extended to Campbell IB seniors Mara Hanlon and Hayden Bossak for receiving their Girl Scouts Gold Award. The IB program also announced several important dates including an auction night on March 29 and exams beginning April 29.

Senior families are reminded of scholarship opportunities available through counselor Yolanda Wright. Seniors who wish to participate in the CAPS Program must submit applications by April 4th.

The annual Seniors vs Teachers Basketball Game & Hoopcoming Crowning event is set for March 25 at the new gymnasium. Tickets are available via GoFan.

Lastly, Campbell High Theatre will present "Finding Nemo Jr." from March 28-29. Tickets can be purchased through Campbell High School Theatre's GoFan Ticket Shop.
