Durham Middle School's Technology Student Association (TSA) team achieved notable success at the 64th Georgia TSA State Leadership Conference in Athens, Georgia. The event took place from March 12th to March 15th and saw participation from 3,104 students from 182 schools across the state competing in over 85 events.
The DMS TSA, in only its second year, was led by teacher advisors Dr. Barber, Mrs. Hartrampf, and Dr. Grant. The team participated in 21 events, advancing to the semifinals in 13 events and reaching the finals in 17. Their performance earned them two second-place and two third-place trophies, along with several top-10 finishes. Additionally, DMS was honored as the 10th Most Outstanding Middle School TSA Chapter in Georgia.
The team's achievements highlight the dedication of the student participants and their advisors. Congratulations were extended to the "Wildcats" for their accomplishments at the conference.
