COBB CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: The Battery Atlanta to Host Xfinity Movie Series on Friday Nights, Oct. 29 – Dec. 10

Cobb Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Oct. 13. 

Cobb County’s premium entertainment destination welcomes families and friends for movies under the stars

A seasonal favorite returns! The Battery Atlanta will once again present the Xfinity Movie Series from Oct. 29–Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. on the Plaza Green. Every weekend this fall, moviegoers can enjoy family-favorite classics ranging from “Back to the Future”, “Trolls” and holiday favorites like “The Grinch”. For those looking to make an evening of it, The Battery Atlanta offers a variety of dining options – including El Super Pan, Ph’East and Wahlburgers – that guests are welcome to order from and bring to the showing. On Saturday Nov. 27, attendees will be treated to Abominable after the Christmas Tree Lighting festivities. For all movie showings, guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair.

Oct. 29 – “Back to the Future”

Nov. 5 – “Trolls”

Nov. 12 – “Land of the Lost”

Nov. 19 – “The Muppet Movie”

Nov. 27 – “Abominable” (following the Tree Lighting)

Dec. 3 – “Jurassic World” (2015)

Dec. 10 – “The Grinch”

WHEN: Oct. 29–Dec. 10 at 7 p.m.

Recurring Friday nights (*Exception for Saturday, Nov. 27 which will air following the Christmas Tree Lighting)

MORE INFO: All guests are welcome to attend this FREE event. The Battery Atlanta does not permit coolers, outside alcoholic beverages or glass containers, but guests are encouraged to grab to-go items from one of the many restaurants and have their own picnic on the Plaza!
