On Dec. 18, the Marietta History Center will be hosting its monthly pop-in event.
"Join us in December for crafts and activities geared toward the holiday season, currently these will be 'Make and Take' so families may enjoy them at home and crafts in the galleries. Our 'Holiday' crafts are included with admission," according to the City of Marietta.
Admission to the museum during the pop-in will be $5 per person with a family cap of $20. The event will start at 10:30 a.m. and continue until 3:30 p.m.
Temporary exhibits include Votes for Women: A Portrait of Persistence. There will be several themed activities and crafts, which will give the children and their families the opportunity to spend some quality time together and interact with the museum.
The project received support from the Smithsonian American Women's History Initiative. Marietta is the county seat of Cobb County, and the city has a population of 60,867, according to the latest estimate from the U.S. Census Bureau.
