Cobb Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Jan. 13.
The Partnership, recipient of the 2021 Atlanta Business Chronicle Pacesetter Award, selected 2021 Cobb Chamber Top 30 Small Business of the Year, and highlighted in both Cobb In Focus and Empower ATL Magazines for its creativity and excellence in marketing and brand communications, provided nearly $30,000 in financial support for community programming and initiatives across the Southeast.
Heavily engaged in volunteerism and philanthropy, The Partnership focused support during 2021 on higher education, elementary school programming, non-profits, and youth development organizations. Selected organizations initiatives provided scholarship support, life-skill trainings, educational, and behavioral services, with a majority servicing underserved communities of women and at-risk youth affected by homelessness, unemployment, and challenged hardships.
“The Partnership believes in togetherness and supporting both public and private initiatives that strive for advancement, empowering communities – with a focus for those that are underserved,” said Shaheen Solomon, director of public relations. “As an engaged advocate and community partner, we’re supportive in the advancement of the surrounding communities and will continue to be active through volunteerism, community engagement, and philanthropy as a driven agency that keeps its pulse on the issues that matter most.”
Organizations supported by The Partnership included the University of West Georgia, Sanders Elementary School in Austell, Down 7 Up 8, Inc., and the Georgia Middle School Athletic Association.
