City of Powder Springs issued the following announcement on June 21.
Due to mechanical difficulties, sanitation pickup services may be delayed. The city is working to rectify these issues, but customers should continue to place their carts outside by 7 a.m. on their assigned collection days. Crews will service collection routes as soon as possible as the department works fix these issues.
