Phase 2 of the voting for the 2024 MLB All-Star Ballot, presented by BuildSubmarines.com, concluded today at noon ET. The remaining starters for the 2024 All-Star Game, presented by Mastercard and scheduled for July 16 at Globe Life Field in Texas, will be revealed tonight.
The results will be announced at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN. Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge and Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper have already secured starting berths as leading vote-getters in the AL and NL during Phase 1.
The top two finishers at each position moved on to Phase 2 of voting, along with the top six AL outfielders. With Judge clinching a spot as the AL’s leading vote-getter, only the next four AL outfielders advanced to Phase 2.
Voting for Phase 2 began at noon ET on Sunday and concluded today at noon ET. Vote totals were reset after Phase 1.
Key races include NL shortstop where Trea Turner and Mookie Betts are nearly tied. Despite Betts being on the IL with a fractured left hand, he continued to receive support.
In the NL outfield race, Christian Yelich, Jurickson Profar, and Fernando Tatis Jr. are leading, but Teoscar Hernández, Brandon Marsh, and Nick Castellanos remain close contenders with only a narrow margin separating them from third place.
In the AL outfield race to join Judge, Juan Soto and Steven Kwan are leading while Anthony Santander trails Kwan by just three percentage points. Kyle Tucker is further behind Kwan by twelve percentage points.
The complete All-Star rosters—including pitchers and reserve position players—will be announced during the All-Star Selection Show at 5:30 p.m. ET on ESPN this Sunday. These selections will be determined through “Player Ballot” choices and selections made by the Commissioner’s Office.
