Mayor Derek Norton to address Smyrna developments at upcoming council meeting

ATLANTA (July 16, 2024) — The Cobb Chamber will host the next Smyrna Area Council on July 24, featuring Mayor Derek Norton. He will provide updates on city-wide developments, a review of 2023, and future plans for Smyrna. The downtown greenspace redesign is complete, and further downtown additions are in preparation, signaling continued growth for this suburb of metro Atlanta.

Registration remains open until July 19 at https://tinyurl.com/28xkt6xt. The event will be held at the Smyrna Community Center with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are free courtesy of the City of Smyrna and the Cobb Chamber, but registration is required to secure a seat. Walk-up registration and admission may not be permitted.
