Get ready to shine brighter than ever at a fundraiser and Atlanta Pride Celebration 2024, hosted at Schoolhouse Brewing. This year’s theme, “Everyone Needs to Glow Up,” promises a day filled with vibrant energy, joy, and unity as attendees come together to celebrate the spirit of Pride. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Atlanta Pride Committee (APC) and the annual Atlanta Pride festival in October.
Pride is more critical now than ever as challenges of inequality, discrimination, and the ongoing fight for LGBTQ+ rights persist. In this climate, Atlanta Pride stands out not only as a beacon of hope but also as one of the longest-running Pride celebrations in the nation. Remarkably, it remains one of the few large-scale Pride events that is entirely free, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their financial situation, can participate and celebrate progress while recognizing ongoing work.
Atlanta Pride serves as more than a celebration; it is a vital platform for visibility, community, and advocacy. It brings together people from all walks of life to stand in solidarity and push for a more inclusive and equitable future.
“I joined the Pride board because I believe in the power of community and the importance of standing up for equality and inclusion. Pride isn’t just a celebration—it’s a statement of resilience, love, and the relentless pursuit of justice for all. As a queer and out Georgian, being a part of this movement allows me to contribute to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering space where everyone can be their authentic selves,” said Elizabeth Fennell, board member of the Atlanta Pride Committee.
Join us on September 14th for an unforgettable experience featuring live music, delicious food, and spectacular performances.
