Campbell High School has announced several important dates and events for the week of November 3, 2024. On Tuesday, November 5, students will have a holiday to coincide with Election Day and will work from home. A hybrid parent meeting for Spanish-speaking parents is scheduled for Wednesday, November 6, from 8:30-9:30 AM, focusing on career pathways and work-based learning. Another hybrid parent meeting on the same topic will take place on Friday, November 8.
Principal messages encourage parents to check their student's grades via ParentVue and to consider enrolling them in Advanced Placement Testing by November 8. This initiative aims to prepare students better for college-level work.
The school has also implemented a policy requiring students to store cell phones in designated caddies during instructional time to minimize distractions. Parents are requested not to contact their children during these periods.
Students interested in dual enrollment must attend an information session as detailed on the CHS Counseling website. The ASVAB Career Exploration Program is set for Thursday, November 7 at Campbell High School.
The PTSA has organized a fundraising event at Bad Daddy's Smyrna on Election Day from 5-9 PM, where mentioning Campbell High School PTSA will result in a donation of 15% of the bill back to the school.
In sports news, congratulations are extended to the Ladies Raiders Team for winning State for the fourth consecutive year. Additionally, holiday assistance programs are available through The Center for Family Resources and Must Ministries Toy Shop.
The PSAT/NMSQT scores will be accessible through the College Board portal starting November 17. Campbell High offers free personal care items through its Comfort Closet program located on campus.
