The Addison Elementary staff and the Addison PTA have announced the winners of this year's PTA Reflections contest. The national arts recognition program encourages students to express themselves through creativity and acknowledges their original works. This year, three students from Addison Elementary were recognized for their outstanding contributions under the theme "Accepting Imperfection."

Srinidhi Vijayaraghavan was awarded Excellence in Literature for her work titled "Be You." Kayla Harris received the award of Merit in Literature for her piece "Accepting Friendships." Vivienne Puerta earned Excellence in Visual Arts with her creation, "The Sunflower Field of Wonder."

These students were honored during Addison Bingo Night on December 6. Their works will advance to the Cobb County Reflections contest, with potential progression to state and national levels.

"Congratulations to these three great Addison students for their hard work, excellent original submissions and their true Gator spirit!"
