Simpson Middle School is preparing for its 5th Annual Holiday Charity Volleyball Tournament, set to take place on Friday, December 20th. The event will be held in the school's gym during connections time.

Participants are required to form teams consisting of 10 to 13 members. Those interested can obtain a sign-up form from the physical education teachers. The primary goal of the tournament is to gather donations for Family Promise of Cobb County while also providing an enjoyable experience for all involved.

Organizers have expressed a desire to see which team can contribute the most items. They encourage each participant to donate at least one item from a specified list, although participation in the tournament is not necessary to make a donation.

The list of requested items includes laundry detergent, shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrushes, individual drinks and juice boxes, paper towels, Easy Mac and ramen noodles, cleaning products such as Clorox wipes or all-purpose cleaner, and individually packaged snacks. It is important to note that canned foods are not being accepted for this drive.
