Campbell High School announces key dates including open house and commencement

Campbell High School has announced several key events and updates for the week of January 19, 2025. The school will observe Dr. Martin Luther King Holiday on Monday, January 20. An Open House is scheduled for Thursday, January 23, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.

Hybrid Parent Meetings are set to focus on Elective Registration, with sessions for Spanish-speaking parents on Wednesday, January 22, and all parents on Friday, January 24. These meetings will take place from 8:30 to 9:30 AM.

The Commencement Ceremony for Campbell High School graduates is planned for Friday, May 23 at KSU at 7 PM.

Principal's message highlights the upcoming Open House as an opportunity to meet teachers and learn about Elective Registration. Families are encouraged to complete a Climate Survey aimed at improving school programs.

Elective Registration for rising tenth and eleventh graders will occur from February 10-14. A Student Behavior Contract Letter has been distributed and reviewed with students during assemblies.

In the Counseling Corner section, feedback is sought from parents and community members through a survey link provided in the announcement.

The College and Career Center continues its work with students under counselors Ms. Young and Ms. Diaz-Brown.

The PTSA calls for volunteers and donations for upcoming events such as a staff breakfast on January 24 and various spring activities. They also seek support from local businesses for Student of the Month gift bags.

ATLGrad will be available in the cafeteria on Wednesday, January 29 during lunch hours to assist with class rings and other graduation items.

Work-Based Learning information sessions are open to students interested in gaining work experience while earning credit.

Deadlines approach for yearbook purchases by January 24, while Color Guard Training Clinics prepare students for auditions in grades nine through eleven.

Senior families are reminded of the commencement ceremony details on May 23 at KSU Convocation Center. Seniors must request tickets by February 28; otherwise, they receive only two tickets each due to capacity limits.

Campbell High Theatre presents "Fame" from January 30 - February 1. Tennis team tryouts require completed athletic registration by January 20.

Volunteer opportunities exist with Campbell Baseball Team as Diamond Ambassadors or in roles such as event volunteers or graphic design assistance before registering by January 31.
