Representative Rich McCormick, serving Georgia’s 6th District since 2023, has shared a series of tweets reflecting on historical perspectives, personal achievements, and celebrations. McCormick, who resides in Suwanee and hails from Las Vegas, Nevada, has an educational background from Oregon State University and National University.

On April 4, 2025, McCormick invoked former President Reagan’s words, discussing tax reform. He stated, "President Reagan said it best while addressing the nation on tax reform: 'I want to talk about taxes, about what we must do as a nation this year to transform a system that's become an endless source of confusion and resentment into one that is clear, simple, and fair for all --'. The congressman emphasized the clarity and fairness needed in the taxation system.

Several days later, he expressed pride in his academic roots on April 7, 2025. Celebrating a milestone, McCormick shared, "Honored to celebrate 50 incredible years of my alma mater, Morehouse School of Medicine! As Student Body President in 2009/2010, I’m proud to see that their commitment to excellence thrives. Here's to 50 more years of impact, innovation, and success!". McCormick lauded the school's legacy of impact and innovation, reflecting on his time as Student Body President.

On the same day, April 7, 2025, he also posted a tweet consisting solely of a link, leaving the content ambiguous.
