The Harrison Hoya Football team was named Team of the Week by FOX5 Sports and celebrated at a school pep rally on Halloween. The event took place at the Hoya Center, where the Marching Band and students contributed to an energetic atmosphere.

Paul Milliken and his HIGH5 Sports team presented the Hoyas with their first Team of the Week trophy since 2014. During the award presentation, Paul acknowledged various student-athletes from sports such as softball, volleyball, cross country, flag football, and soccer.

The pep rally included appearances by costumed characters like Beetlejuice, Bruno Mars, Baby Yoda, and figures from "The Sandlot." Between live TV segments for Good Day Atlanta, activities included three Knockout tournaments—one each for staff and students—and a final competition won by students. A Dance-Off featured "Bruno Mars" performing breakdancing moves but finishing as runner-up.

Harrison Hoya Squad members presented the trophy to the football team. Seniors Carson Canup and Terrence McCrae were interviewed by Paul Milliken before the presentation. They attributed their 8-1 record to teamwork and understanding roles within the team.

Carson stated about his teammates: "I've got 98 of my best friends behind me. We're a brotherhood, and we know what we're supposed to do, and we do our job."

Principal Dr. Jeff Milton expressed pride in the team's achievement: "I couldn't be more proud of these guys," he said. "It's been a decade, almost to the day, that we last won Team of the Week and this is a special recognition for our team and for our school."

He also highlighted Harrison's successful athletic program: "Harrison's athletic program is having an amazing run right now, and all the teams present today are region champions. It's a great time to be a Hoya!"

Acknowledgment was given to Paul Milliken and HIGH5 Sports for recognizing Harrison Hoyas as Team of the Week. Praise was extended to Coach Salam, his staff, players, support staff, and fans as they prepare for GHSA playoffs.
