The Metropolitan Atlanta High School Band of the Year Competition has reached its final stages, with 20 bands from the metro area vying for top honors. The competition offers a chance for two bands to perform at Mercedes Benz Stadium on December 13th during the ESPN HBCU Band of the Year broadcast.
"One of the two will be crowned Metropolitan Atlanta High School Band of the Year!" states an announcement regarding the event. Both winning bands will receive $10,000 for their participation.
Fans are encouraged to support their favorite bands by voting as many times as they wish. Voting concludes on Monday, November 18.
Community members are urged to "spread the word and vote for Pebblebrook's Mighty Marching Machine and South Cobb's Blue Eagle Marching Band."
