Cobb County Schools will open on a two-hour delay on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025. This decision follows assessments by the police, maintenance, and transportation departments regarding road and facility conditions in the area.
The announcement comes after consultations with the National Weather Service Atlanta, Cobb Emergency Management, and Cobb Department of Transportation.
Despite the delayed opening, all after-school activities, including sports programs, will proceed as scheduled.
