The NJROTC unit has been recognized with the Distinguished Unit Award for the third consecutive year. This accolade was presented during a meeting at Acworth City, where each cadet also received a "Key of the City" lapel pin.

The unit's achievements are notable given its size, with cadets dedicating an average of nearly 30 hours to community service and over 25 hours to school support per cadet throughout the year. Many of these cadets participate in multiple teams, including Academic, Color Guard, Drill, Drone, and Orienteering teams that have advanced to area championship levels or higher. In total, they have accumulated more than 5,000 practice hours.

Despite their rigorous training schedule, over 60% of the unit's cadets maintained an A-B average in their academics.

"Congrats, NJROTC! We are so proud of your hard work."
