Kennesaw Mountain High School is set to host the third Kennesaw Mountainfest on Saturday, April 26, 2025. The festival, supported by several sponsors, will begin at 11:00 a.m. and offer free admission and parking.

Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy music from groups like KP and the Classics, School of Rock, and other local school performances. Food vendors, including Pisano's Pizzeria and Silva's Tacos, will be available, alongside over 100 vendors displaying crafts and art.

Family activities will include inflatables, a climbing rock wall, and a life-size dinosaur skeleton. A silent auction featuring products from local businesses will also take place.

In addition to free daytime events, the festival will present an evening concert from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Departure – The Journey Tribute Band will headline, with After School Special performing beforehand. Tickets for the concert can be purchased on the Kennesaw Mountainfest website.

The festival has received positive feedback from the community. "Having attended Mountainfest in previous years, I can readily say it's some of the most enjoyable time I have spent attending an outdoor festival. It's a great day for families to come out and enjoy the music and festivities. There is something for the entire family. It is a tremendous opportunity for couples to share in the joyous atmosphere. I personally am looking forward to enjoying the festival and seeing many familiar faces and making new friends,” said Randy Scamihorn, Cobb County School District Board Member.

Christopher Taylor, a school parent, added, “It is amazing how quickly Mountainfest has grown. What's really nice is that there is something for everyone and the young musicians are highlighted throughout the festival. The focus on quality instead of quantity is obvious. Since the proceeds from the festival support the student programs, it's a win-win for everyone!”

For those interested in becoming a vendor or sponsor, applications are still open.
