The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) is introducing new programs aimed at helping students who need additional assistance with their studies. On April 16, the GaDOE will launch the GaTutor site, offering students the chance to receive one-on-one tutoring sessions every day of the week. This initiative is powered by Georgia Virtual Learning and focuses on meeting the individual needs of each student.

In addition, the GaDOE has collaborated with Varsity Tutors to present an informative webinar, "Helping Students Realize: Yes, You Are a Math Person," also scheduled for April 16. Varsity Tutors provides access to an array of archived webinars on various topics including college admissions, test-taking strategies, and reading skills through their website.

Families in Cobb County are encouraged to explore these free resources and participate in the virtual learning sessions provided by GaDOE.
