Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Kennesaw State University

In-state tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Kennesaw State University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Georgia residents paid $6,347 to attend the four-year public institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Non-residents paid 173 percent more than residents this year, or $17,329. Their price tag was unchanged from $17,329 in 2017-18.

About 84 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Georgia residents. About 13 percent are residents of other states and 3 percent are citizens of other countries.

Data shows 91 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 4,362 students received grants or scholarships totaling $26.9 million and 2,434 students took out student loans totaling more than $14.5 million.

Including all undergraduates (35,420), 23,464 students used grants or scholarships totaling $118.5 million, and 16,281 students took out $103.6 million in federal student loans.
