Cost of college went up for all students at Life University

Tuition and fees rose 8.4 percent for 2018-19 at Life University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Georgia students paid $12,696 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $981 more than the $11,715 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 96 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 108 students received grants or scholarships totaling $837,456 and 51 students took out student loans totaling more than $279,721.

Including all undergraduates (2,746), 593 students used grants or scholarships totaling $4.6 million, and 485 students took out $3.9 million in federal student loans.
