The upcoming events at King Springs Elementary School include a special program to honor veterans and a Thanksgiving feast. On November 11th, the school will host the "2nd Grade Salute to Veterans" at 6:30 PM. The event is intended to celebrate those who have served in the military, with second graders performing a program of appreciation. Attendees are encouraged to wear patriotic colors.

From November 19th to 21st, the school will hold its Thanksgiving Feast. Students can invite one guest for a meal in the cafeteria, provided they are registered as a Student Contact in ParentVUE and check in with photo ID at the Front Office. Visitor meals cost $6.00, payable in cash with exact change required.

The menu includes turkey, stuffing, dinner rolls or cheese pizza, and sides such as mashed potatoes, green beans, assorted fruits, and spice cookies. The schedule is divided by grades: Kindergarten and 4th Grade on November 19th; 2nd Grade and 5th Grade on November 20th; and 1st Grade and 3rd Grade on November 21st.

Thanksgiving Break is scheduled from November 25th through November 30th. There will be no school during this period to allow students and staff time with their families.
