King Springs Elementary School and all Cobb County School District buildings will be closed for Winter Break from December 23, 2024, to January 3, 2025. However, the district has provided guidance for new and returning students who need to register during this period.

For students who have never been enrolled in a Cobb County school, parents are advised to visit the CCSD enrollment portal to complete the registration form online. All required documents must be uploaded, and the "Submit Your Enrollment" process should be completed.

Parents with older children already enrolled in the Cobb County School District can use ParentVue to complete their enrollment forms online. They also need to upload necessary documents and ensure that they finish the "Submit Your Enrollment" process.

The required documentation includes five key items or their corresponding 30-day waiver if applicable. These include:

- Georgia Certificate of Immunization (Form 3321) or an Immunization Waiver

- Georgia Certificate of Hearing, Vision, Dental, and Nutritional Screening (Form 3300)

- Proof of Birth Date (such as a Birth Certificate or Passport)

- Social Security Number or an Objection Waiver

- Two proofs of residency: Home ownership title/mortgage statement or current lease/rental agreement AND a utility bill (water, power, or gas)

Detailed enrollment requirements along with policies and regulations can be found on the Cobb County School District enrollment page.

For assistance during this process, parents can contact KSE Registration Clerk Whitney Taylor at whitney.taylor@cobbk12.org or call (678) 842-6944 x023.
