Coming events in January at KSE include National Mentoring Month, the Kid's Heart Challenge Kick Off Week, and Board Appreciation Week. Sibling Transfer Applications for the school year 2025-2026 are open from January 6th to 17th. The month will also feature a variety of field trips and special activities.
Students in the 5th grade will visit the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, while those in the 4th grade will head to the Safety Village. Spring clubs for 2025 are set to begin, and Kindergarten students will celebrate their 100th Day of School with a parade and performance.
Transfers for children of employees continue through January 17th. Schools will be closed on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. HB251/School Choice Transfers for the upcoming school year open from January 21st to February 14th.
The schedule also includes a field trip for the 2nd grade to the Safety Village and commencement of STARBASE trips for the 5th grade. Other notable events are Jr Beta Induction, KOS Parents Night Out, and St. Angelos Spirit Night.
