The Cobb Chamber's Marietta Area Council has announced Holly Tuchman as the 2024 Citizen of the Year. The award recognizes individuals whose contributions have made a significant impact on their community, serving as role models through exceptional deeds. The accolade was presented during a breakfast event at the Hilton Atlanta/Marietta Hotel & Conference Center.

Holly Tuchman, co-owner of RobertKent Galleries, has been acknowledged for her leadership and volunteer work in Marietta. Her tenure as CEO of LiveSafe Resources is particularly noted for transforming the organization from a financial deficit to a $2.6 million entity, expanding resources like transitional housing for domestic violence survivors and elder abuse services.

Tuchman's volunteer efforts include involvement with organizations such as the Kiwanis Club of Marietta, Cobb Community Foundation, and Circles Cobb. As past president of the Kiwanis Club, she played a key role in establishing reading oases in all Marietta elementary schools. She also serves as Board Chair of the Earl and Rachel Strand Theatre.

Her achievements have earned her recognition from various organizations: she was named Woman of Achievement by the YWCA of Northwest Georgia, honored as Cobb Executive Women’s Woman of Distinction in 2018, and listed among the Top 75 Women in Cobb by the Cobb/Marietta Junior League.
